Physicians Assistant
Physician Assistant Daniel Casper is a native of Utica, N.Y. and has resided in New York City since 2000. He graduated cum laude from the Touro College Manhattan Physician Assistant Program in 2007. While at Touro College, Mr. Casper received the award for Outstanding Academic and Clinical Achievement. He received an A.A.S. in Biological Sciences from Mohawk Valley Community College in 1995, and later a B.S. in Biological Sciences from SUNY College at Cortland in 1997.
After completing his Physician Assistant studies, Mr. Casper was employed at Lenox Hill Hospital in the Interventional Cardiology Department. While at Lenox Hill, he provided care in a high volume setting, for patients both pre and post catheterization, and assisted in formulating plans for the care of these patients. He later chose to switch his focus of practice to Orthopaedic Surgery, joining the practice of Dr. Enrique Ergas and Dr. Thomas Youm in July of 2008.
Mr. Casper is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and is also credentialed with the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases.
